Sec. 14 · Pre-purchase17 answers
Frequently asked.
Direct answers. No marketing prose. If your question isn't here, ask support after you have an account.
Sec. 15 · The product
The product.
- What does an engagement actually look like?
- You bring a specific situation in 2-4 sentences. The specialist responds in the operating mode shape — recognizes the pattern, attributes it to a named primitive, hands you one specific deployable counter-move, and tells you what to observe after deploying it. Typical engagement: 4-8 turns, 5-15 minutes.
- How is this different from ChatGPT?
- Every engagement runs against the methodology corpus — eight pillars of tradecraft primitives, frameworks, case applications, pitfalls, refusal calibration. The specialist you're talking to has a defined domain, a defined voice, a defined operating mode. You're not wandering into a chatbot; you're working a specific kind of situation with a specific kind of operator.
- Will the agent diagnose my partner as a narcissist / sociopath / etc.?
- No. THE DEFENDER describes behaviors and names manipulation patterns (gaslighting, DARVO, intermittent reinforcement, etc.) — it doesn't pathologize individuals it hasn't examined. The methodology is calibrated to give you back your own perception, not to issue clinical labels.
- Can I use this for sales / marketing copy / persuading customers?
- Yes. THE INFLUENCER and THE CLOSER are the right specialists for that. The methodology is target-specific: you bring a real prospect or customer; the specialist applies the primitives to your specific situation. It won't write generic copy.
- What about manipulation? Will you help me out-manipulate someone?
- No. The line is persuasion vs. manipulation: persuasion presents arguments the target could counter if they wanted to; manipulation suppresses counter-capacity. The platform stays on the persuasion side. If you bring a request that crosses into manipulation, the specialist will refuse and offer the persuasion-side reframe.
Sec. 16 · Pricing + billing
Pricing + billing.
- Is there a free trial?
- No. The methodology is the signal; the price is the filter. We don't run discount promotions, manufactured urgency, or free-trial sampling. If the value isn't visible from the marketing surface and the diagnostic quiz, the product isn't for you.
- What is an engagement allocation?
- Each tier ships with a monthly count of engagements calibrated to quality, not volume. Recruit gets 25 standard; Tactician 35; Master 50 (40 standard + 10 workspace); HANDLER 40 + 4 + 4 + 4 + 2 across standard / multi-agent / extended / deliverable. Allocation resets each billing cycle.
- What if I hit my cap mid-month?
- You'll see a dual-option surface: purchase an overage block at the same margin (10 standard engagements for $19-$99 depending on tier; smaller blocks for premium engagement types) or upgrade to the next tier with prorated mid-cycle billing. Overage blocks expire at the end of the cycle.
- Can I cancel?
- Any time. Cancellation at period end (the default) keeps your access until your current billing period expires; you don't get re-billed. Immediate cancellation is also available from the settings page.
- Is the annual HANDLER discount worth it?
- HANDLER Annual is 15% below 12× monthly ($5,069 vs $5,964) and extends persistent-context retention from 24 to 36 months. If you're already a HANDLER subscriber and the persistent context is loading meaningful work, the annual preserves more of it.
Sec. 17 · Data + privacy
Data + privacy.
- What data is stored about my engagements?
- Your conversations are stored against your account so the platform can resume engagements and (on HANDLER) build persistent context across sessions. Persistent context is kept per-subscriber in a private vector namespace; no cross-subscriber retrieval.
- Will my engagements be used to train models?
- No. Subscriber prompts are not used for model improvement. The methodology corpus is the platform's training surface; your private engagements are operationally isolated from it.
- What about formal deliverables?
- HANDLER subscribers can generate formal deliverables (3-pass PDF artifacts). Every deliverable carries an anonymized identifier on the cover and footer — your name doesn't appear on the artifact. The identifier is salt-derived; the mapping lives server-side.
- Can I delete my account?
- Yes. Account deletion cascades through every persistent record (engagements, conversations, persistent context vectors, RAG documents). Audit log retains action records for compliance but with subscriber identity nulled.
Sec. 18 · E-books
E-books.
- Are the e-books complete on their own?
- Yes. Each volume covers one specialist's full pillar: primitives, frameworks, case applications, pitfalls, refusal calibration. You don't need a subscription to read the methodology. The subscription adds the interactive specialist who applies the primitives to your specific situation in real time.
- What format are they in?
- PDF + EPUB, both included. Each download is watermarked to your license with a salt-derived identifier. Don't share the file; share the methodology.
- Bundle vs. single?
- Five volumes individually $49 each; bundle $179 (save $66). The five together cover the operator's methodology end-to-end. If you're not sure which volume fits your situation, take the diagnostic quiz first — it routes you to the specialist whose pillar matches your stakes and pace.
